Job Description 

  • The candidate will lead the Project IT team, strategically fostering collaboration, innovation, and productivity through effective communication and mentorship.
  • The candidate will strategically lead the ECEWS ACE5 HQ, Akwa Ibom, and Cross River State offices, understanding their unique technological needs and implementing proactive solutions to enhance IT services.
  • The candidate will Lead and provide innovation to the ECEWS IT infrastructure, implementing cost-effective solutions to streamline operations and improve network performance.
  • Must possess expertise in monitoring and protecting ECEWS servers, ensuring the integrity of critical data and systems.
  • The candidate will lead and manage the ECEWS ACE5 solar system installation projects with professionalism and versatility, showcasing exceptional project management skills.
  • S/He will ensure the procurement of authentic IT devices, safeguarding ECEWS investments and ensuring the reliability of technological assets.
  • The candidate will provide IT leadership across ECEWS Projects, driving innovation and delivering effective backend support for IT solutions.
  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute cloud migration and expansion projects.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement and ensuring best practices and standards are followed.
  • Strategically Design, implement, and maintain security controls and compliance measures for Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure security requirements are integrated into cloud architecture and operations.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations for continuous improvement of cloud services.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Recruitment Standard

  • Msc. degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in cloud computing, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
  • Certifications in Cyber Security, O365 Cloud Services, networking, such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or CompTIA Network+ and any additional related certifications are a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT roles, with at least 4 years focused on Enterprise setups, ERPs and cloud computing, particularly with Microsoft Azure.
  • Proven IT progressive leadership experience in managing Multi-dimensional IT setup and implementation.
  • Proven experience in leading the management and maintenance of Enterprise or Virtual Networks infrastructure, including key NSG and Firewall configurations.
  • Excellent networking skills, including knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing protocols.
  • Experience in managing solar system installations and maintenance, including solar panels, batteries, and inverters.
  • Proficiency in Managing Microsoft Azure cloud services, including but not limited to Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Networking.
  • Proficient in Managing and implementing cloud computing Security principles, architectures, and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with solar system management, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex IT issues efficiently.
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 25%.
