Job Description

  • The Human Resources Manager supports the achievement of ECEWS’s strategic objectives by managing the HR function within the organization. This role is responsible for delivering effective human resources services from both operational and strategic perspectives.
  • Working under the guidance of the Senior Human Resources Manager, the HR Manager coordinates day-to-day HR operations, ensuring alignment with ECEWS’s goals and promoting efficient, compliant, and cost-effective people management practices. The position emphasizes continuous improvement and the implementation of best practices across all areas of human resources.
  • The HR Manager provides consistent and practical support to managers and staff on HR policies, procedures, and systems, and serves as a resource for advice and guidance on people-related matters across the organization.

Minimum Recruitment Standard

  •  Degree in Human Resources Management/ Organizational Behavior/Business Administration or related field
  • Certified member of Chartered Institute of Personnel Management or related body is an advantage
  • At least 5-7 years relevant experience.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and computer (Excel and spreadsheet) skills are required.
  • Demonstrated success in multicultural environments is required.
  • Experience and good working knowledge of Donor Fund regulations is an advantage.
  • Experience of HR in the not-for-profit sector is an advantage.
  • A higher degree or professional qualification in HR is an advantage
  • Familiarity with Nigerian Labor laws
  • Verbal and written working proficiency in English.
